VIETNAM SPORTS PLAYER PTY LTD (VSP)
VSP vision and strategy is to add the sector codes for a "lottery" licence and/or "sports betting" licence which we are already compliant to apply under the betting laws.
VSP was the only international company to be invited to submit their written opinions and recommendations to the Lottery and Gaming Division, Department of Banking and Financial Institutions, and the Ministry of Finance in terms of considered amendments to the existing betting Decree No.06/2017/ND-CP for sports betting in Vietnam.
As a result, VSP were invited and I attended as a speaker at both the June 2020 and December 2020 "betting industry seminars" held in Hanoi by the VAFIE (Vietnam Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises).
These seminars were attended by representatives of the National Assembly, Central Economic Committee, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Justice, with economists and information technology specialists. VSP1 was the only international company to be invited to submit their written opinions and recommendations to the Lottery and Gaming Division, Department of Banking and Financial Institutions, and the Ministry of Finance in terms of considered amendments to the existing betting Decree No.06/2017/ND-CP for international horse racing in Vietnam.
These seminars were attended by representatives of the National Assembly, Central Economic Committee, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Justice, with economists and information technology specialists. Vung Tau Province is home to some of Vietnam's major and world-class "Eco-tourism" projects, which includes a Vung Tau Government Tourism project:
1. Grand Ho Tram Strip Casino & Resort (164 hectares) opened in 2013.
2. Greg Norman “Bluffs golf course” (90 hectares) across from this resort opened in 2014.
3. Wyndham Resorts “Ramada Hotel” (5 hectares) adjacent to the resort to open in 2022.
4. Huong Phong Tourism Project which is wholly owned by Ba Ria- Vung Tau Provincial Committee is to construct an aquarium and sea sports project (7 hectares), to be situated within and surrounding of a “5 Star” hotel at “Bai Truoc” known as “Front Beach”, which is considered the face of Vung Tau Province, scheduled to open in 2023.







“VSP1” has been given preliminary approvals in 2019 by the Vung Tau Government for an International Horse Race Track a sports project segment in Ba-Ria City in Vung Tau Province in South Vietnam, and anticipate the granting and issuance of this Company Licence and related project and tax sector codes prior to June 2020.
