VSP via their Vietnam subsidiary Sportstel was awarded Vietnam’s first and unique company licence and business sector codes in terms of international sports consultancy and acting as a sports agents by the Vietnam Government in 2015.

Since then, VSP was the only international company to be invited in 2019 & 2020 to submit their written opinions and recommendations to the Lottery and Gaming Division, Department of Banking and Financial Institutions, and the Ministry of Finance in terms of considered amendments to the existing betting Decree No.06/2017/ND-CP for a sports betting business in Vietnam.

As a result, VSP were invited and attended as the only international guest speaker at both the June 2020 and December 2020 “Hanoi betting business symposiums” held by VAFIE (Vietnam Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises) and attended by representatives of the National Assembly, Central Economic Committee, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Justice, with economists and information technology specialists.

Sportstel’s vision and business strategy is to add the sector code of a “sports betting business sector codes” as per our application documents which are compliant due to our local compliance (residency and enterprise licence) as per the draft sports betting business laws which outlined enterprise compliance.
