Vietnam Sports Player Pty Ltd (VSP), an Australian private company and the parent company of its Vietnam subsidiary Sportstel Company Limited, was awarded the unique local company license in 2015 as a 100% foreign-owned company, with Michael Efron as the sole chairman & director listed.
This is a rare occurrence, as wholly foreign-owned companies usually require a local chairman or director. Subsequently, the Ministry of Finance registered VSP as a shareholder on the company’s license.
As a special advisor to Congress Committees and related Ministries for updating the wagering business laws (2021-2026), we are well-positioned to be invited to apply for and be awarded Vietnam’s first sports betting business license.
